Max is a special local, that one everyone knows of, even if they've never met. He's the kid from the good family with the good parents who just couldn't be reached, or rather, wouldn't. Sure, the kid's athletic and could have gone anywhere on a scholarship after high school, but his apathy towards the future closed that door. A great socializer, Max will engage anyone in conversation, though most locals know that he's an expert conman, and they don't bite the bait.

Max is, however, very loyal to the people he likes and is understanding of complicated situations. As well, he never judges, unlike those who judge him. On the other hand, he's a criminal, in the most minor of ways. Always in trouble with the local law enforcement, it's not an unusual sight to see him wandering away from the sheriff's station early in the morning after an overnight stay. Yeah, there's one in every town and this one is Max.

"So, are you from here? If not, where are you from?"
"Isn't everyone? No one actually seeks out Stony Brooke."

"That's cool. Do you like it here, why or why not?"
"It's home, can never change that. Where else would I go that everyone knows my name?"

"Nice. Can you tell us a little bit about your family, and how you feel about them?"
"Mom and dad expected more of me, lots more. As if the name wasn't a dead giveaway that I fell short of their expectations, the gossip around town would surely fill in those gaps. By now, they've all but given up on me, which is fine by me."

"What about the things you like?"
"I did like sports, when I was convinced to play back in school. The scholarship offer just wasn't for me though, and the misdemeanors make it hard to keep the scholarship."

"Things you don't like?"
"When people walk to the other side of the street if they see me coming, I mean, I'm not a murderer."

"Got any weird quirks, or habits?"
"I'm a habitual conman, a manipulator."

"What's a long term goal of yours?"
"Figure out life."

"If you could be the opposite gender for one day, what would you do?"
"This is a trick question, right?"

"Favorite movie, show, color, and food?"
"Does any of this actually matter anyway? I watch movies, I eat, that's all that matters."

"Do you prefer doors open or closed?"
"Open, I like to know who's coming to visit."
