OVERALL: david is an overall asshole, he’s obnoxious and arrogant, but knows how to flirt and manipulate his way out of situations. He comes off as this bad boy, this bad boy who doesn’t mind breaking the rules at all, he rather make up his own rules. He likes to test people’s limits, see how far they’ll go. He’s really protective of himself, so he builds up walls to keep people at a distance. He doesn’t let anyone in, if you start getting to close to his feelings, he’ll say something mean to just ruin everything. he really doesn't like talking about that stuff and he doesn't trust most people. around his close friends he’s a pretty fun guy to have around. He jokes around a lot, he’s very sarcastic, and just loves to have a good time. He believes that’s exactly what life is about…HAVING FUN. He doesn’t take life too seriously and that can maybe be a problem to a certain extent, but he doesn’t see it quite yet. He can be nice and sweet when he wants to be, but it’s not an everyday activity for him, in fact, it's pretty fucking rare when that happens. He just does what he can to put a smile on HIS face, which yes, is a bit selfish, but frankly he doesn’t care. He is good company though if you’re on his good side, he’s a huge goofball, and loves talking shit.
He insults people when he wants them to go away or leave him alone. But if he wants you near, he’s pretty good at keeping you there. He can be nice when he wants to be. He loves the boys and there’s no stopping that, he knows how to use them and abuse them, it’s just his thing and it’s going to stay that way. He actually does have a heart, he just chooses not to reveal that type of stuff. in fact, he'd much rather hide his feelings and what not. yes, he's very cynical. he doesn't believe in love or relationships. he thinks they're pointless and that monogamy is one of the most stupidest things in the world.
don't worry though, he's not all bad. he's actually a pretty chill guy when you get to know him. well, if he let's you get to know him. he only keeps around the people that he likes. if he doesn't like you, you'd definitely know. he's sarcastic and has a pretty good sense of humor, but you don't exactly see that side of him right away. it takes work. he believes that people have to show him that they are worth letting loose around... that they are worth him trusting them. but it takes awhile, since this boy has a tendency to be a little stubborn and hates dealing with stuff like that. he's complicated, but you learn to live with it. you can love him or hate him, he really doesn't care.
when it comes to people he cares about, you see a COMPLETELY different side of him. he's nice to them and they're the only ones that can bring that out of him. he jokes around a lot and he's really attentive to their needs. he shows his more caring quality. he's still a dick, but they're used to it by now, and he isn't necessarily mean to them at all. but the thing is, he's over-protective of all of them. and he's not afraid to hit someone if they mess with one of them. also, if any use the puppy dog look on him, it works everytime, but only with them. he doesn't know why, but it does.
